Derrick spent 12 years at IBM as a Project Manager, where he specialized in installing complex systems and making technology easier for everyday users. He later built a successful mortgage brokerage business for nearly two decades, promoting financial literacy and helping thousands of families make sound financial decisions.
With over 15 years in the airline industry, Derrick also developed exceptional communication skills, cultural understanding, and calm leadership in high-pressure situations. He is also a published author of You Are the Creator: Seven Powerful Principles to Engineer the Life You Deserve, reflecting his passion for lifelong learning and personal growth.
